I finally got around to listening the voicemail left by my doctor’s office. I’ve been confirmed for 11:30 a.m. at the hospital to check in for my scheduled c-section.

You know what’s awesome TODAY? That when I leave here I only have 14 workdays left. It would have been fifteen except I have a doctor’s appointment on Aug 3 that requires I take the day off.
FOURTEEN WORKDAYS. That’s so awesome.

So since we found out we were having a boy, the subject of circumcision has been plagueing my brain. Do it? Don’t do it? Reasons for? Reasons against? Suffice to say this is a HOT TOPIC on the baby boards and one that can spark more ire and vitriol than abortion [...]
This morning I had the Group B Strep test done. I didn’t think I’d need it since I’m having a scheduled C-section, but apparently the pediatricians like to know the test results just in case something happens and I go into labor.

I’m feeling quite nauseous right now. I had a dry-heave as I was leaving the house this morning, and had breakfast upon arriving at work, but now I’m feeling sick again, with 45 minutes to go until lunch arrives.
This weekend had some ups and downs. Ups in that the swelling on Saturday was tremendous. My left ankle could hardly move at some point. Ditto to being swollen yesterday at church because it was so stinkin’ hot in there that no amount of water would help.

So I made my appointment for a maternity massage courtesy of a gift certificate Denis gave me for my birthday (or was it Mother’s Day?). Either way, I’m taking August 3rd off for a doctor appointment and have schedule the maternity massage for the same day! YIPPEE!!!
Isn’t that just a WONDERFUL number? 37 days til CootieBoy arrives. That’s barely a month! YIPPEEE!!!!
