CootieBoy’s chattering is getting better every day. He says “Mama” all the time now, and occasionally even looks at me when he says it. We’ve been trying to getting him to work on consonants, so we have a lot of “la la la la”, “ma ma ma ma”, “da da da da”, and [...]
Fun in the tub with sister O. That’s a rash on his face from eating a cracker with a knock-off version of cheese wiz. CootieGirl got a rash too. It went away pretty quickly.No more wiz for our kids.
So CootieBoy is on the verge of walking. He can now take more than a few steps before deciding that crawling might be less painful. At daycare he wears shoes, but they are really clunky and you can tell that CootieBoy doesn’t like them much.

So we thought CootieGirl was the mimic – apparently CootieBoy is too. He only does it occasionally, but sometimes his gibberish pre-talk contains actual words.
